Heritage Ambassadors (HAs) represent the voice of young people within the Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage (TCCH). They are selected from a diverse group of committed and inspiring young people who actively promote, celebrate and help safeguard Cyprus’ rich and diverse cultural heritage. The initiative aims to inspire a greater appreciation of the island’s shared cultural heritage among young people and the wider community, fostering a growing network of heritage advocates and future custodians from all communities across Cyprus.

The Ambassadors participate in TCCH activities and events, promote cultural heritage through social media by sharing stories and images, and undertake site visits to monuments conserved by the TCCH. Through outreach and community engagement activities, they help raise awareness of the importance of safeguarding Cyprus’ shared cultural heritage and encourage wider public participation in its preservation. In addition, they contribute to the development of digital tools and educational resources by providing valuable feedback, helping to ensure these resources are relevant, engaging and accessible to a broad audience.
